About the Role
The Email Marketing Specialist will be responsible for supporting revenue growth and client retention. A team player, this role will be the primary contact for small and midsize clients, guiding them with exceptional service and knowledge of their business and the email industry to grow accounts and foster client well-being and satisfaction. You will be responsible for ensuring accounts and projects are delivered on budget, to spec, and helping identify growth opportunities within existing accounts. You will become proficient in email and multi-channel marketing, and develop a strong understanding of related systems and platforms.
Assist with the development of email campaigns and automations across a variety of email platforms including Tekside CONNECT and SalesForce Marketing Cloud.
Become proficient with industry tools to monitor deliverability and inbox placement.
Become a subject matter expert on the Tekside CONNECT email platform.
Maintain and support existing customer accounts and support new business development.
Support the business team as they become trusted customer partners on email strategy, best practices and product functionality.
Assist in maintaining the Tekside website content / blog post process.
Manage client email operations including template design, data segmentation, dynamic content, journey building, A/B testing, batch deployments, engagement reporting etc.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders and outside vendors.
Participate in customer calls, meetings, and program reviews.
Assist with market research and analysis to develop and enhance the product offerings.
Assist with the marketing strategy by monitoring competitive products and reactions from customers and the industry.
Develop and maintain project documentation, flowcharts, and roadmaps for workflows and automations.
Support business development by conducting Tekside CONNECT platform demos, training and support for new and existing clients.
Assist with new client onboarding.
Contribute to the development and maintenance of scalable business processes that ensure best practices in project and campaign management, including campaign architecture, segmentation, data quality, and reporting.
Skills and Qualifications
College diploma or University degree in related business discipline.
Strong understanding of data-centric marketing.
Highly detail oriented.
HTML experience is an asset.
WIX experience is an asset.
Experience with Google G Suite products (Docs, Sheets, Slides)
Enthusiasm to learn and solve problems.
